Recently taken over by Tracey and Craig, a couple who have moved from South Yorkshire have been in the hospitality business for over thirty years, they have made the Ragley a superb place to meet  friends for lunch, have a night out, or have a relaxing afternoon.

The Ragley specialises in Steaks and has been using the same butcher and locally sourced meat since 1985. With the mighty man mixed grill and the 48 oz. Titanic Steak on offer, even those with a huge appetite should leave satisfied. If steak isn’t floating your boat, the Ragley offer a varied menu including a comprehensive children’s menu. With a 5 star hygiene rating the Ragley pride themselves on great food and great quality.

The Chef!

Nick was only 16 years old when he started his experienced culinary career in the year 2000, working as a waiter in the Ragley Boat Stop. At that young age Nick proved to be an already focussed and ambitious individual splitting his time between work and college. Through his hard work he soon found himself moving up the ladder very quickly and by 2003 (on father’s day) he had attained the prestigious title of Head Chef.

At present date almost 14 years later, head chef Nick Gould is now the longest standing employee across all 6 of King Henry Taverns. As each pub is free to come up with new ideas for the menu, Nick is free to do some of his own signature dishes, mastered over the course of his impressive career.
