Kinara, meaning by the waters edge is aptly named with being just a few minutes walk from the popular canal and five minutes from Mercia Marina.
Since opening it’s doors in Willington, a beautiful village just a few miles away from the City centre, the team have focused on delivering a quality service to local people and attracted visitors from further afield to sample their culinary delights. All of their food is fresh and locally sourced using fresh vegatables daily.
Their ethos centres around using local businesses to provide the Kinara for their restaurant, High welfare local meat is provided by Packington Free Range who are based in Barton under Needwood and have been trading for circa 80 years.
They are also supplied by Betty’s Farm which is just a few minutes away on the outskirts of Willington, which also is home to Stewart Bailey one of the last remaining fishmongers in Derby.
With the combination of a high quality products including non Halah meat, and a true indian heritage chef, you won’t be disappointed when you leave the Kinara.
