There’s a new independent restaurant in Derby – The Dining Room at 121. Taking the spot of the old Terrior Bistro, it has just opened on the 21st June; with a completely new industrial style interior and food to die for, The Dining Room at 121 might just be your new favourite place to eat.
It is run by Simon and Claire Bates – Simon having 19 years of kitchen experience, previously working as head chef at The Wonky Table and the Blacksmiths Loft. They look to give their customers the ultimate dining experience, with an intimate (24 seater) venue, and producing classically contemporary dishes – focusing on the best of local and regional British produce. Because of this the menu is set to change regularly to ensure that they can showcase some of the best flavours.
Have a look at the current summer menu here, or they have a 2 or 3 course Sunday Roast which you can check out here. Fans of they’re cheese will be happy at The Dining Room as they have a dedicated cheese menu too with your choice or 3 sizes of cheese boards. Brie-lliant!
The Dining Room at 121 is available for group bookings and private hire.
Please note they stop taking food orders 2 hours before close and are also shut between 3pm-5pm Thursday to Saturday for transition from lunch to dinner service.
