What you’ll need

  • 300 ml bottle of beer (the choice is yours)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 – 2 teaspoon mixed spices
  • 2 – 3 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast

*Add more of spices or Worcestershire sauce if you wish

Prep it

Place chicken in a large bowl and pour beer and Worcestershire over chicken. Put the remaining ingredients into the bowl. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinade for at least 1 1/2 hours in the refrigerator or overnight as the longer you let this marinade, the better the chicken will taste when you cook it.

Cook it

After chicken has marinated remove plastic wrap and place chicken and enough marinade to surround chicken in an oven proof dish cook at 180° C for 30 – 40 minutes.

BBQ it

It might be worth starting the chicken off in the oven if you’re a novice at BBQ time. But give it a go, keep the BBQ low as not to incinerate the food and keep a little marinade left over to coat the chicken in the final stages. Easy!
