The Brunswick Inn was designed by Francis Thompson, the Derby building’s form is a 4 story triangular building, with two floors that are underground. The Inn features 2 beer gardens, functions room, monthly jazz played every first Thursday of the month and more.

Early in 1990 construction was started on an extension to give the Brunswick Inn back its original capacity to produce its own beer.

A traditional tower style brewery built over three levels, great care was taken to keep the brewery in keeping with the history of the Inn, with lines of windows and stonework following through into the extension.

The plant itself was installed in April 1991, and on the 11th June 1991 production of Brunswick Brewing Company beer began. The brewery has a brew length of 10 imperial barrels (16.36Hl), and a maximum production of approximately 1000 imperial barrels per year.

The Brunswick Inn has won the Derby Camra’s pub of the year 2016 and 2017. The Brunswick inn was in the 2019 Great British Pub awards. It was finalist for the best for cider in Great Britain.

The Brunswick inn has a wide range of drink to serve such as the famous Brunswick ales, bottled beer and more. They do serve food to go with the amazing ales that they create.
