Chatsworth Country Fair is one of England’s most spectacular annual outdoor events.

Held in Chatsworth park, and it attracts large crowds from all over the country. Massed pipe and military bands, demonstrations and parades, hot air balloons, parachuting and over 300 varied trade stands and rural crafts make this a memorable event with something for everyone.

The Stoves Cookery Demonstration Theatre

A chance to experience first-hand some of the nation’s favourite chefs whipping up delicious culinary delights. We have a great line-up this year along with some fantastic local chefs showcasing their talents all set in the foodie haven of the Fine Food Village.

Mary Berry CBE

Mary Berry has a mission to get everyone baking and following the success of ‘Mary Berry Everyday’, she is going the right way about it. We are thrilled Mary will be sharing her pearls of cooking wisdom with us on Saturday 2nd September in the Cookery Demo Theatre.

John Torode

Our favourite Masterchef judge will join us on Sunday 3rd September, once again cooking some recipes from his book, ‘My Kind of Food’ which he says, “reflect me and the things in life I love – how I eat and how I cook. At its heart, it is simple, but it’s definitely also influenced by my years in restaurant kitchens.”

Paul Hollywood

Paul Hollywood returns to the Chatsworth to demonstrate and inspire us all to get creative in the kitchen. Paul will be joining us on Friday 1st September to teach us all we need to know about baking.

Lisa Faulkner

Following the success of her book ‘From Mother to Mother’, inspired by other mothers and family members, Lisa Faulkner will be cooking from the heart and sharing some of the recipes the whole family can enjoy.

Alan Coxon

TV Chef Alan Coxon is a food Archaeologist and has created a unique range of ingredients and now consults for a variety of food producers. As part of the GREAT campaign, he travels around the world cooking for British Ambassadors and dignitaries promoting British gastronomy, producers and products.

Jose Souto

A specialist in game Jose’s approach has always been to teach not only the chefs of tomorrow about game and its diversity, but also to inform people about the ease with which game can be part of their everyday diet. His book Venison: The Game Larder has had huge success incorporating recipes and butchery of venison.

Matt Gabbitas

Matt has been at the helm of Masa’s kitchen since 2014 and brings elegance and refinement to our Cookery Demo Stage. We are thrilled to welcome Matt back to Chatsworth for his third year in a row.

Lee Mangles

Lee Mangles is a Yorkshire chef with 20 years’ experience of working with the best local, seasonal produce. In 2017, Lee became Head Chef in the development kitchen of Sheffield’s ‘PJ Taste’, a restaurant famed for sustainable, ethically produced and increasingly home produced or foraged foods.

Justin Rowntree

Justin Rowntree is the founder of the multi-award award winning Silversmiths in Sheffield. But has recently left the business to set up ‘SweetSpot Hospitality Consultancy’, advising restaurants across the region on how to thrive.

Eva Humphries DipION, mBANT, CNHC

Eva Humphries is a registered nutritional therapist, speaker, columnist and founder of the health and wellness site Wholefood Warrior. Her food demonstrations utilise real, easily accessible, seasonal ingredients to generate nutritious dishes that are easy to recreate at home.

Rupert Rowley

A native Yorkshireman, Rupert trained at Sheffield Catering College and went on to work with top chefs including Raymond Blanc and Gordon Ramsay. Rupert returned to his roots in 2002 and joined Michelin starred Fischer’s Baslow Hall. In 2007, Rupert, with Max & Susan Fischer, opened Rowley’s village pub & restaurant in the heart of Baslow.
